Don’t Take No was already partially recorded, so I think that’s why they recorded it. They already had most of it done. They would have needed to get Atlantic’s permission to use any old recordings of Go Through This for this album, which meant no Chris Squire on the track.

He just wouldn’t take “no” for an answer.

I am surprised so many people are fine with the weird mixing on the return trip The man you always wanted me to be…

on the original the focus is on Chris singing the man you always wanted me to be not the eeyeahs in the background

on the return trip it’s reversed with horn’s eeyeahs placed prominently which to me is not only the wrong choice but almost unforgivable it’s why I haven’t beat the horn producer drum really since 2018

I just don’t get why we need Horn covering Benoit’s lines it would be like of Horn did From a Page return trip especially as there were a ton of material they could of used to finish up Return trip as in theory

    you have 4 townhouse songs
    1 xyz song
    run with the fox
and all of adventures in modern recording to pull from to make a drama 2

Remove Don't Take No and Into The Storm, insert Go Through This instead and you have it.

Just drop “Don’t Take No For An Answer” and swap in “Go Through This”.

No but then I don’t think we desperately needed the Horn version of the Horn tracks. It’s a bit of a waste hearing David sticking to Horn’s guide vocal, but although it’s more authentic I never cared for the eccentricities of Horn’s enunciation. There are some refinements, but overall I’d stick with version 1.

That’s not Return Trip. It’s something different all together.
    But could have been interesting.
There were some nice melodies there, even if most of them would need a lot of reworking.
Not sure about Vermillion Sands as there is already a (very nice) Buggles version of that.
