    Did you get the 2CD edition with the bonus tracks? I bought it in 2014 but it's been off the books for most of the last few years since then. I listen to it quite often, especially late at night.

    In another recent interview about CttE, Anderson mentioned that Wendy Carlos's Sonic Seasonings was an influence on the album, so I bought a copy of Sonic Seasonings. It's a great album. It's very trance-y and chilled out, so unlike CttE in that regard, but it has side-long immersive pieces. You can see that sort of soundscape and exploration of themes being influential on Jon. It's very relaxing!
