I had a little trouble getting onto the "new" site but happy to be here now. It's behaving in a bit of a wonky manner for me - are there some bugs to work out?

Hurray! I was saddened when I realized the old Yesfans site had gone away. To see a new site take its place is wonderful. Thank you, John, for all the hard work needed to create this place for fans of Yes to congregate. I am really glad that I decided to google 'yesfans' today!
When Yes is the answer, anything is possible.

Wow. This is so weird. And they say you can never go home again!

I am a new member of the website. I was turned on to Led Zeppelin and Yes by a friend in high school in the late 70's. For the next 40 years or so, Zeppelin was my favorite band. I "re-discovered" Yes about 4 years ago. Since then Yes has become an obsession. I appreciate the band so much now and literally listen to nothing else. I have had to catch up for all the lost time, and regret not recognizing their greatest much sooner and a long time ago. In my opinion Yes is the greatest band of all time. I like a lot of different music, but again, there is nothing that compares to Yes. I am writing this today to lament and admit a profound sense of sadness lately whenever I watch a prior concert video. It makes me cry and I'm not certain why? Perhaps it is because it appears the original or classic lineup will never play together again. It's one thing when most of the band members have passed. I have watched the ARW shows with joy and fascination. In fact, I believe the Live at the Apollo show is one one of the greatest live concerts ever, by any band. For me, it's not nostalgia I seek, rather just damn great music. Am curious if any of you feel the same way. Forgive me, am certain you all have discussed this subject a million times. Once again, late to the party!
