The landscape comprised amongst other things, some famous English rocks taken from Dominy Hamilton's postcard collection. These are, specifically: Brimham Rocks, the last rocks at Land's End, the Logan Rock at Treen and single stones from Avebury and Stonehenge.

Rick wanted a drink with the Sabbs

Wonder who wanted the fish to have bubbles?

I read somewhere, possibly on a stone tablet in Latin, that the stars on the cover of Tales form the zodiacal constellations of the band's star signs, possibly including Eddie Offord as well?
I've never bothered to try and identify them; I don't personally have a star sign, for the same reason I don't have a Christian name.

No, but if you rub it between your toes, it keeps the athlete's foot down...

The tragedy of Tormato was that the original concept, with Steve spotting "Yes Tor" on a topographic map, could have led to a very cool Dean cover. Instead, we got what we got. I don't know if the tomato splatters made the critics more vicious than they would've been anyway, but why invite them to be that way?

Now you know how Steve felt when Jon got his "guitar" out... 😆😆😆

Jon actually rates those paintings of his.

    (Sells 'em on his website.)

    Sanity was restored with Drama.

TQ's cover is brilliant. Even has nod to Chris.

Hipgnosis did some iconic album art, but they didn’t really “get” Yes.

    AA!

Look at bottom right of the painting. The rock pillar leaning on the big rock. Back view of Chris with his long hair and full coat.

Also the stained glass logo calls back to FOOW cover.

    (Missing the Man?)

As always in 《YES》World, those theories are up for debate. Someone has to get Roger on the record.

Q: What is the nod to Chris Squire on the cover of THE QUEST??
