So now we have the Title song of the album. Composed by Juano and who? Inspired it would seem by Roger's story about Henk Rogers paddlin' out on night-time lake paddle and seein' all the stars reflected in the Stillwater. So did Juano hang with Roger in England. Did he soak up some of the magic?

Will it wrap around the square of the cover?

Do the Gottlieb Bros know anythin'?

Will the Nebra Sky Disc be in the lyrics?

Roger had some circular designs doodled in his sketchbook.

Nebra Sky Disc... well, the Nebra Sky Disc shows the sun, the moon and lots of stars, and lots of song titles point to celestial things.

Nebra Sky Disc... well, the Nebra Sky Disc shows the sun, the moon and lots of stars, and lots of song titles point to celestial things.

Yes. Was in a facebook video. Said Henk told him the story and immediately he had the idea. Henk is the Tetris guy, soon to be immortalized by Taron Edgerton in an Apple+ film. Dean does not appear as a character as plot is about Henk gettin' the copyright to the game in Cold war Russia. All before they met and Roger doin' the covers for the game.

Henk also lives in Hawaii and leads a team explorin' research into life on Mars. They have simulated camps and structures. Buzz Aldrin and Roger Dean are also involved. So I wonder if any of this planet hoppin' will be on MTTS?

The graphics for the album cover show a darker, more purple sky. And even with those, there seem to be a couple different versions - one heavily saturated; one lighter in shade but much sharper. I wonder what the physical covers will actually look like?

I have wondered if the reason the letters are round and form a circle (a first for Roger Dean's work for YES ?) is because of the Nebra sky disc concept and connection...

I have wondered if the reason the letters are round and form a circle (a first for Roger Dean's work for YES ?) is because of the Nebra sky disc concept and connection...

They were sketched out in the same sketchbook as the final paintin'. So they are new ideas. Although they remind me of his font for the Matthew Sweet album.

The "e" looks like a fetus. Once you've seen it you can't unsee it. Actually quite a sweet idea. But. Don't think Roger was goin' for it. Of course "m" and "w" are made from 2 circles.

Looks like the Nebra Sky Disc thing was just a passin' suggestion by Steve for the logo colour. Patinated copper. But didn't really pop out enough from the cover's colour. Henry and other reviewers have not mentioned any lyrical reference to it.

Now I dig this font. Timeless. But. Looked ridiculous when used for the new long tour title.

I'm curious why the album cover is a much more muted purple color than the bright blue of the actual painting. Presumably the logo didn't stand out as much, or the band preferred it that way?
