Always take YES and Robert Palmer's Greatest hits on the roadtrip to Canberra to visit my sisters. One of them, let's call her Julie wasn't that impressed whilst our Rob warbled away until Every Kinda People came on. "Oh, he sang that?" she said. Seems RP went under many people's radar. Don't think he ever toured here.

Love the song. A true pop classic that speaks to the need for believing in eachothers humanity. Sinewy bass, beautiful acoustic guitar, sweet synths and his easy and impeccable vocal phrasing.

The song leads Double Fun* so I need to listen to the rest, pronto!
