Always a nice and warm man, with unbelievable talent who helped steer the YES-ship with arrangements and multiple key choices for the rest of the guys to pick from, that became some/many of the iconic YES-monster songs that we all love.
One of the best shows I ever attended was Wakeman and Wakeman with son Adam. Oliver, his other son, along with Benoit David, help get the good ship YES out of dry dock and into touring, again. And I will be forever grateful. It is one thing to be a great session player, song -writer and performer, but to produce two more brilliant musicians and nice guys almost, almost ;-) tops his YES-stuff.

How long can Rick can continue past his 75th birthday next year?" - https://www.rwcc.com/gorrarchive/gorr_2305.php
"the arthritic hands can't take the battering that the one-man show requires anymore. I can still get through okay but back in the dressing room at the end, the hands are plunged into an ice bucket of ice and ice-cold water in order to get some relief and so in future I am looking at touring with other musicians in order to share the load… this will mainly be with the English Rock Ensemble or members of the band."
"Rick will of course be playing the leading role on keyboards, while the English Rock Ensemble line-up will be the same as the Palladium shows: Dave Colquhoun (guitars and backing vocals), Adam Falkner (drums), Lee Pomeroy (bass and backing vocals), Hayley Sanderson (vocals) and Adam Wakeman (keyboard, guitars and backing vocals)."
It would appear that Adam will increasingly share the load. We should enjoy Rick's shows whilst he is able to tour.
