We should have a thread for the new album. There's lots of discussion about it on Facebook. Well, not about the album, people complaining their orders haven't arrived from the online shop!

I listened a few times when I first got it, but then went back to my Winter/Christmas music (since that needed to be listened to at that time). I shall pick it up again, soon. My first thoughts were that I wasn't sure how much I would end up liking it. That's not necessarily negative - it usually takes me a while. It did with The Red Planet, which I eventually ended up really liking. The pace of this one is generally gentler than I would normally prefer, and I didn't immediately take to the vocals (but that may change). Most of the tracks had vocals (around 8?), with about 4(?) instrumentals, two of which are piano. This obviously doesn't tell you very much, but I don't have a lot to say, yet! I will listen some more, soon, and will then hopefully have something more to report...

Electric piano on The Visitation? Didn't expect that. Bit Kate Bushy too in the vox dept. Not bad. Not bad.Last edited by Gilly Goodness; 01-30-2023, 11:08 PM.
