Someone who sadly does not have the voice he used to is Bryan Ferry: thin and reedy, with little strength behind it. Ditto, Gordon Lightfoot. And they both had fantastic voices when they were younger.

Ferry is 76 and Lightfoot is 83. I looked it up.

I saw Roger Hodgson performing 2 years ago and he sounded excellent.

Good ones all, Crosby always had such a unique voice.
Others who are still strong Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, both guys from America Beckley and Bunnell, and to an extent Sir Paul.

Sadly, legends Billy Joel, Elton John, Brian Wilson and Phil Collins have some difficulty and all use quite a bit of support on stage. I thought Phil’s voice was around 60-70% when I saw him in ‘19 which still made it somewhat resemble a Phil/Genesis sound, although physically he was immobile post surgery. Jon still singing so beautifully defies the odds.

Kate Bush has lost her high end but I think her mid-range voice is still gorgeous and she still has power behind it.

Ann Wilson's voice has aged fairly well, I think. You are hear some differences but she can still belt it out when she needs to. Whereas Nancy's voice is a bit more brittle these days, IMO (but still lovely).

David Pack still has a beautiful voice.

Maynard James Keenan is someone else whose voice has aged (as he's now approaching his 60s) but I think he's grown into his "mature" range, as it were. He's gone from just powering through some phrases/passages to really incorporating nuance into what he does. He can shift within a song through various moods.

Damian Wilson is in his early '50s now but his voice is still wholly gorgeous and strong.

David Crosby is now 80, and he's been very prolific in the last 7 years, with 5 beautiful albums. And he still sounds wonderful.

Not sure about other singers but yeah Jon Anderson's voice is amazing for a 77 year old.

I believe this topic has been addressed a bit in the past, but now that Jon is 77 years young with a voice not too much different from years ago, can you think of other band lead singers or vocalists in general who have aged so gracefully?
