Yes, Jon mentioned in the inner sleeve of this album/cd, that he and Jane were walking in their town of San Luis Obispo, when they passed an Irish pub, with live music, filled with happy people. That was the basis for this album. I think I've listened to it once or twice.
If you want to hear Jon at his Jazziest, I believe The More You Know would be the album. He basically laid down vocals for a couple of brother musicians. I'll take this album hands down over In the City of Angels.
