Here is something I never knew about. Giorgio Moroder enlisted Jon to sing for a soundtrack to the old film Metropolis, which he outbid David Bowie for the rights to for $200,000. Others included Freddie Mercury, Pat Benetar, Adam Ant, and Loverboy!
I think this is a relatively rare case of Anderson singing a song he had no hand in writing. He must’ve made up the ad lib section at the end though. It’s not Yes, but it works as a mid-1980s soundtrack tune. IMO of course.
