Is Anderson Trying To Reach Out To Howe and/or Just Being Nostalgic?

This recently released video clearly shows Anderson's nostalgia for years' past. Interestingly, it may actually feature Howe more than any other former bandmate with Wakeman a close second. Is this yet another attempt to get back in Howe's good graces and back with Yes in some capacity whether as a few special event(s) or more of a permanent thing? Seems odd he would release another video of the same song unless he forgot about the prior video (which is entirely possible) or he is trying to mend fences and more. I was surprised to see several photos I hadn't seen before

He released this vide0 for ITPO in 2020 without himself or any former band member shown.

Dunno who is doin' these videos. But there are dozens of them on youtube. Of old Jon songs. With eagles. Eastern religious symbols. Waterfalls. Probly superfans with time on their hands. Just know ol' patreon-Jon doesn't spend a penny on them. Prove me wrong.

They are both on Anderson's personal YouTube (and Facebook) page which seems like it is more than just than a fan making the video. Jon could have "appropriated" one or both of these videos' but i think he had some involvement in both.

Here's a video I love, that Jon didn't spend a dime on. Somehow he talked Larry Gowan, or rather his record company to foot the bill/blow the entire budget on this magnificent video and song. Check out the story behind this as well. Larry is the talented Canadian-guy who replaced Dennis De Young in Styx.

Perhaps. He does seem very open to recievin' fan music over the internet. And then addin' lyrics. The train has left the station I think in regards to him singin' with YESofficial as Juano's standin' continues to grow and grow. Singin' with John Lodge tommorrow night in England.

In some wild way I would love Jon's "8 songs" to be fleshed out by YESofficial but we may have to wait for the Metaverse to hear such combinations created by AI, machinelearnin' and quantum computin'.

Think Steve is happy to be steerin' the ship. Especially as the 3rd Davison album is brewin' nicely.

Jon has my eternal thanks for entertainin' us for 50 and more years. Wish him and Janee and family all the best.

I guess it makes more sense that a video for a Yes song has pictures of Yes than it would for it to have pictures of Aerosmith or Buzzcocks.

Michael Byrne does a lot of the videos for Jon: maybe he did this one? I'm pretty certain Jon isn't putting the videos together himself, so the inclusion of more Steve Howe photos seems unlikely to be a deliberate choice by Anderson.

I liked the first Michael Byrne video I saw, everyone since looked the same…new Jon/Byrne music video pretty much sounds & looks the same

I think what Simon here says on the question whether he and Garfunkel will ever make amends, goes for Howe towards Anderson as well, albeit a little less acrimonious.
