March 4th would have been Chris' birthday.

Thinking of Chris on what would be his birthday. To be honest, I think of Chris, and his playing most every single day .

Also, a big thank you to Miguel Falco for mentioning this date in his new video today.

Happy birthday to Scotty/Scotland Squire as well. I miss you, too.

One of the last things he ever signed for me.

How about this. In my carstereo I have a USB-stick containing about 3.000 songs en I have that on shuffle mode. Today I got into my car to go grocery shopping, started the car, the stereo came on and the first song that came up was Chris with "You By My Side". On his birthday. Out of 3.000 songs. How beautifully coincidental.

            Happy Birthday Chris.
            Miss you Fishy.
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

There have been two celebrities whose deaths caused me to grieve nearly as deeply as the loss of a family member. They were Johnny Unitas (former Quarterback for the late great Baltimore Colts) and Mr. Chris Squire. I’ll tip an ale to Mr. Squire this eve. He will always be greatly missed.

Ultimate Classic Rock retweeted an article from 2016 yesterday with their top 10 Yes Chris Squire songs:

Counting down the Yes songs that best showcase co-founding bassist Chris Squire.

I would change Tempus Fugit with Does it Really Happen? and would exchange "Can You Imagine" with "Parallels", but other than that it's a pretty darn good top 10 in my view.

Happy birthday to Fishy and Scotland. ❤️
Amen.
