Squire, Moraz, Bruford under the largest thatched roof in England. Could easily be a great Yes record with added A+H.
though sonically interesting to have no guitar apart from bass.

FOOW is as good as any Yes album. A masterpiece. Squire's voice could carry an album. It is an album I still listen to today.👍 3Comment

Chris does play 12-string guitar on two tracks sez wikipedia, but it's obviously not a guitar-centric album.👍 1Comment

It is one of my favorite albums of all time. Totally unique and strange in a beautiful way. Shows what a gigantic unique creative force Chris was and that magic he contributed to Yes. My daughter used to say it was her favorite Yes album. I have zero problem with the fact there is no Anderson,Howe, Wakeman, and almost zero guitar. Chris, Andrew, Bill, and Pat, had some serious mojo.Last edited by Somis Sound; 06-10-2022, 01:57 PM.👍 2Comment

My brother who isn't a huge YESfan found a second hand copy on CD in an op-shoppe recently. Was overjoyed to hear it again. Has got a wide reach.
Lucky7 is just so cool and groovy! 😁Comment

Brilliant album. By far the best album of the 5 solo albums released in 1975. I would put it ahead of a handful of Yes albums as well. I might even be persuaded to say it's the best album out there with the Squire/Bruford rhythm section. There seems to be a much more natural flow to their work together on this album, more relaxed also, than on the Yes albums they did.
Last but not least what makes this album so good is the orchestration by Andrew Price Hackman.👍 1Comment
