That's wonderful, what a good man!
I remember reading comments from Bill about how many drummers and musicians have sought him out over the years in hopes of meeting their hero, and I had the impression he did not relish meeting a lot of adoring fans. Also I believe Bill himself has advised people to "never meet your heroes" as his own experience in meeting a couple of his heroes was disappointing. So I think it's wonderful that he took the time to make this great moment for this gifted young drummer.
