  • Progeny: Seven From Seventy-Two

This rather important release seems to have been overlooked on the list....
Sometimes the lights all shining on me, other times I can barely see.
Lately it occurs to me what a long strange trip it’s been.

Was the set on the Close To The Edge tour, as documented on Progeny, shorter for Alan's benefit, only having three days to learn it, or was it to fit in with the support act's set? Or is it not especially short by the norms of the time? It seems a bit short to me, and even more so with two solo spots included?

Glad I purchased it. Hope one day they can do the same to Yessongs

HOTS & YIND are both edited versions on Yessongs compared to Progeny.
