  • In search of this version (Laserdisc/VHS?)

Hi friends, i found this version on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9eE1KPwzAzA
Is this the Laserdisc / VHS version?
The DVD version sounds like crap and the aspect ratio was cropped. I'm in search of this version of the show in better encoding quality than this Youtube version. DVD resolution and lossless audio. The audio on this version is far better que official DVD, it's only need a few EQ tweaks and the video i also can improve very much with a decent transfer as source.

If it is the Laserdisc version, the job can be done much more easyer.

    Thank you.

I can offer a little bit of info. Prob not enough to fully help you out though. I too have the cheapo dvd - Sanctuary version. Without the full intro, full credits, etc. But, from back in the good ole days, I have a VHS copy of that which is on YouTube. I apologize I don’t know the source. I got it in the late 80s, early 90s, ??, probably. At a show, out of a trunk, at a market - can’t remember, damn. Oh well. I digress. Maybe it is a laserdisc transfer. It’s Def not a first gen transfer, video has some fuzz, but sound is damn good. I’m not an audiophile, so that’s about as much as I can offer. I love throwing the TAPE in. Lol.

so vhs copies are out there. You can message me if you like.

Interesting intro but technology today can do wonders if they have the original source and want to spend the money. Not sure the band members care enough.
