Someone has a Pink Floyd Double Bubble up right now btw. I think I remember at least one of you is a Floyd head as well. Very rare record, and will probably go fast.

Just looked at it. Pretty Cool. But I’m just a fan, not a fanatic, lol. I think High maybe said he got a Floyd boot recently, in an earlier post. But I could be completely mistaken.

If someone is a Floyd fanatic, I have 3 good Floyd/waters/Gilmour boots that would be considered for trade

oh - there are two “Wakeman - Unleashing the tethered one” up that I’m watching. I have a diff label and insert already. One is at a very good price. And
the other the seller will take 50 I’m sure as an offer (but thats still high if you can shop). Just a thought - nice collector item, if it’s on your list. 🤔

Having done some more research, Awaken is taken from the soundboard recording on evening of the 28 October. My first Yes concert was the Matinee performance earlier in the day.

I also realise now how poor Ebay’s global shipping prorgamme is. Not only is it ridiculously expensive but its quoting three weeks plus plus plus to ship various Lps from the US. P*ss poor from Ebay , unbelievably bad.

Ugh, their global shipping thing is the worst. I refuse to use it as a seller on eBay after they destroyed 3 different and very rare lps that I sold overseas. Thank god I insured the packages, but still. I have never sent or received anything damaged in my life, ever, except for that time I shipped via eBay’s global shipping program. The one lp was shattered and the other two were bent in half. Bear in mind I pack things well, so that really was quite a feat. Fingers crossed for ya, man.

I think I found a copy of the recording on Forgotten yesterday's, albeit from a CD version :

But the Tormato demos seem in order and it includes Awaken.

Its in Mp3 format, so its a bit thin, but I am actually quite pleased with the sound, given the low expectations that I had.

We shall see - its still stuck in some customs' loading centre in Italy.

There’s always a possibility that the version we came across was a knockoff of an original pressing. Bootleggers bootlegging a bootleg. Fingers crossed for you! I think the demos are actually in pretty good quality, and some of them are longer than what’s on the Rhino cds. So, not all bad!

So I decided to pick this one up. The demos I have already and I assume they will be also be disappointing. But I got this for the live version of Awaken in London 1979, which we know didn't happen. I hope its Wembley 1978 but I don’t know. Does anyone ? Time will tell.

The record sleeve and cardboard cover is a classic !
