That is more like it, but £30 postage kind of kills it

What is the VAT? That’s more than our sales tax. Is it on top of regular tax? And shipping?

Some items I get have large shipping. Others not. Guess depends on how much seller baked into item price. I’ve had good luck with the best offer when available. Most sellers are very nice. Had two good conv today about stuff we have been viewing.

Yeesh, yeah I would walk on that one as well. I have seen them come up for like 30 before. I get the impression that a bunch of those were made. I think the first lp is the same as stellar attraction anyway. Do you know what the second lp is? I think it’s Rainbow 1972, but I don’t think it’s just a rip off of the Yessongs soundtrack like some of the other Rainbow 1972 records out there.

Those shipping rates… It does NOT cost that much to ship a record from the US. I have shipped stuff to the UK for like 10 bucks. Probably about 12 pounds then?

Nice! I was born in Summit, NJ and lived in Plainfield when I was little. I have a soft spot for the Garden State for sure.

Any views on the difference in sound quality between Yesshows 77 and Live in London ?

Replied in our chat, but figured I’d chime in here as well for anyone reading or wanting to discuss.

I think Yesshows ’77 is a bit brighter sounding with more clarity. Live in London is nice, too, but it’s a little more distant sounding with a darker quality to the reverb. I think most would prefer Yesshows ’77 for casual listening, even though it’s shorter.

Thinking on it again, each album kind of sound like the weather stereotype of the region. California sun and London Fog. 😂

Stellar Attraction - I believe is two discs of the Boston Gardens Show.

The Affirmery - has a one and a a two disc version : both versions confusingly called the same.

The One disc version is only Boston Gardens

There are two Stellar Attractions also - both 2 Disc, Boston. SODD version (Highfell Profile Pic 😁) and Beacon Island version (rerelease of SODD)

And yeah. Affirmery single disc is TAKRL, double disc is Beacon Island (rerelease of Affirmery and At The Rainbow).

                          wondering if you can help me out with a Sorcerers Apprentice question;

My version - Idle Minds label, black vinyl, black on white cover insert, w/ IMP and the Sabbath in the Run outs. No edition or band names in the insert.

So I have a printout of boots info, some maybe from FY, info from hot wax maybe, and notes thru the years, and peruse Discogs, etc. And i see six versions w/ first and third supposedly colored vinyl. And I see pics of third to sixth editions that say the edition on the insert, and those inserts (4-6) have band names on them. Not the third.

So so I am assuming I have a Second edition. OR could it possibly be a first that wasn’t colored, can’t tell if there was such a thing

                          Curious if y’all may know!

I’m personally not positive, but I would say it’s at least in the first three as you deduced. There’s supposedly copies of these out there that are needle drops of the original, and made with colored vinyl so that they look like the originals. Presumably, those don’t have the sabbath joke in the runout though. Sorry I can’t be of more help. Maybe Highfell or someone else can dial that in.

Right? I just recently learned that the Pink Floyd boot “Crackers” was reissued over 10 times, all with slight variations to labels and inserts and whatnot.
