    Favorite Official Live Yes Song

    Ritual - Yesshows

    Not on Yes' payroll.

    YIND.

For Steve's meltdown solo. The album. Not the film version.

Right there with you. My favourite live version of a Yes tune as well. Everyone, including the new guy on drums, just completely brings their A game to this one.

Actually the cool intro is great. Piano. Drums. Taking their time. Jazzy even.

I would also go with the Yessongs-YIND followed by:

that's how far progressive rock went so far, nobody else reached that point:

          and:

mostly for ST, best version ever so far:

Absolutely - YIND on Yessongs every time.

Honourable mention to Onward on Keys. In my view very few songs are better live than their studio versions but that is one.

A-and on the flip side, a couple songs that have been played live but not yet released on any *official* live album that I would pay some serious Canadian dollars (well, as serious as those are) to acquire, you know, if anyone's listening…

                      I'm Running
It Can Happen (had the 45 single of something that had a wonderful live version on the b-side)
On the Silent Wings of Freedom
                      Release Release
                      Love Will Find a Way
                      The Calling
                      Endless Dream
                      Open Your Eyes
                      New Language
                      Into the Storm

Onward and Turn of the Century here, too. The live ambience really helps these songs break out of a tinny studio sterility, imo…

Good picks, but no one’s mentioned my two favourites, both from Yesshows: Parallels and Don’t Kill The Whale.

Concur on Whale. Saw it Live in 2003 in Sydney.
Epic live, esp Alan's drums. Steve's riff. Better than I thought it would be. Crowd was on fire after. Total freakout. Came early in the set. Crowd nicely warmed up after SK and Mag....
