I apologise for any offence. Was a tactless comment. Like you, I am a Yesfan of similar vintage. That gives us latitude to opine on anything Yes. True. In fact any member is up for criticism and/or mockery for their behaviour. Geoff is definately someone I think I would not agree with IRL on many fronts.

The wider context of my remark to you Kenny, is that I had just previously seen your post on the thread "which keyboard should each Yes keyboardist play" (sic).
You only made a cheap crack at Geoff. Excluding even Igor who was arrested for sexual assault. Geoff's crime? He can't do a decent Rachmaninov impression like Rick?

So I felt that unfair and then the comments above in this thread concerning Geoff's thoughts (which neither of us know) and Geoff's talent. Let's just agree to disagree on the latter. I am Irish so I'm up for craic and robust banter. I have limitless energy for both. But am a lover not a fighter and will self-monitor my posts as to not cause offence.

(The bogong moth has lost 99.5 % of it's population. It migrates past my old hometown from Queensland to the Australian Alps
where it spends Summer in caves. It was always a source of protein by the Aboriginals. Cooked and ground into a paste
like hommous. Numbers lost due to drought and the fires 2 years ago. They heralded summer in Canberra and were famous for hanging around the
lights of Bruce Stadium where The Mighty Canberra Raiders rugby league team play. They need saving!)

I recently sent a nasty response to another member on this thread. Although I honestly feel the original post and personal attack on GD was inappropriate, not humorous, and was appalling in nature, my response was uncalled for and also not appropriate for this wonderful, fun, and enjoyable site.

I hope I did not offend anyone who may have seen it before it (and the original) was removed. I feel I have made a couple ‘yes friends’ here and I wouldn’t want to ruin that.

I’m learning. This is my first and only social media foray. Lol. I’m not innocent either. I posted controversial politico stuff in a couple sections too - politics, and Beatles I think. It was stupid. That does nothing except to cause angst. Not meant for this site. And better left to face to face discussions over a beer or two. I find people are much more apt to finding a common ground when actually talking together!. Too easy for misinterpretation and boldness on the keypad. Maybe cause I’m older and worked in an industry for 33 years where management/union discussion occurred every day. I think I’m comfortable fAce to face. And have no patience for an online personal attack.

Oh well. Nuff said in the subject. I’m boring myself and everyone. Lol. Water under the bridge now. Thanks for the reply!!
