  • Remembering Alan White

Exactly a year ago today dear Alan White passed away. What a great drummer, who has left a brilliant legacy both with Yes and outside of Yes, an a warm and caring person on top of that.

Miss you Alan! Here's to you! 🍻

Such a terrific talent and a stabilizing force in Yes. This guy was one of the greats and he never quite got the recognition that he deserved.

RIP Alan. He was a Yes institution, and seems to have been loved by all who knew him.

I’ve said this before, but it’s worth repeating: Alan’s gift to Yes was giving it something it didn’t know it needed, but treasured eversince:

The member of Yes whom I’d most want to move in next door.

The live Endless Dream. Alan not for nothing named it when he was asked around 2004 what the most difficult/complex Yes song ever was for him to have played live.

Alan White! Best drummer Yes ever had, and part of the soul of Yes. I miss the dude, though Yes is in good hands with Jay. Alan White was the best!
