50th anniversary of Alan's first performance with Yes

Today marks the 50th anniversary of Alan's first show with @yesofficial in Dallas, Tx on July 30, 1972.

And what an incredible run it would become!

I saw him and YES for the first time a few weeks later on August 21st 1972. We were supposed to be the first show of the tour, but Bill quit so it got rescheduled with Alan. Alan made YES rock and help them become a huge live act filling arenas and stadiums. I got to see him play more than 100 times and was lucky enough to share some drinks on many occasions. Will miss him so much.
