See, in a nutshell, that's the difference between the US and Canada. You guys have Hydroplane races (very expensive boat racing machines), and we have, well, Bathtub races....

Labor Day ( holiday + Bumbershoot ) 1st weekend
in Aug., Seafair.

I'm in favor of the last 2 weeks in July, or 2-3 week of Aug.
