Anyone who truly can help should offer their services. The Mods will help to steer the ship, but we need Captain Kirk and he needs a crew.

Y'know, I think keeping this as simple as possible
is the key. Let me know if say, the Link from the airport
to downtown is good for you, or if you want to rent cars,
or gangup on car rentals, say 4-5 to a car.

Marge laid out a good pattern, that we can adapt to the
local situation. Our "poolside meet and greet" can be at
somewhere along the Link, the Sat. night party will most
likely be when Parallels plays for us, w/ special guest YFs
opening...

Seattle's a great place, with lots of tourista stuff to
keep everyone occupied.

Between partying, sleeping it off, sightseeing, it'll go in a blink.
The town's setup for stuff like this.

The thought of a handful of YFs coming in early
(I know Jodes is a former local, plans to be here a week,
Melissa knows the town well, ) is a good one on several levels.

I'm liking the last weekends in July as well. That's when we had the Boston gathering, and we had a fantastic turnout.

The best weekends I think would be the last 2 in July or the last 3 in August.(Incidentally there are a few hatches during those periods if you like river fishing.)

Labor Day sucks anyway...add the Bumbershoot Festival,
and we're looking at a packed downtown.

I agree completely with Mark's suggested times.

I plan on coming in on a Tuesday. I have a good friend from high school who I'll spend a day with. Plus I think a winery trip was going to be in order?

Yes, please let me help in any way I can! I may not know where I'll be living next July/August, but I guarantee it will not be any further from Seattle than Anchorage or Los Angeles (or maybe even Seattle itself!) I WILL attend this event and be happy to volunteer anywhere I am needed.

I am thinking of renting a mini-van to get us to the winery... unless we have more than seven people going. Most mini-vans hold seven, including the driver. Maybe if others rent cars, we can carpool convoy style up to Woodinville!

Plenty of time to put these plans into action. First, we need to settle on a date!

I swear, I haven't had one beer yet, but what is the possibility that we could get Yes to line up a tour date with our gathering? I convinced the wife that we should spend a week of vacation in Seattle, so I figure I should try to ask for as much as possible to happen then. I told her she could put me up in some dilapidated nursing home once my mind goes and she could interview pool boys around the same time, even if we don't have a pool.
