They should team up and digitially release Fragile and Don’t Take No For an Answer and a small EP.

Steve Howe should be paying us to listen to him sing on that song.
    2. "Fragile" is a good song, but it isn't available for purchase anywhere and isn't an official release. Since they seem to have no plans to ever release it, I have my download...
Has there been a case in the past 60 years when a song by a big name band is played on the air that wasn't later released?

Last year around this time their website read: new music planned to be released in the first quarter of 2018......by this time next year I'm sure 2019 will have been replaced by 2020 and you will probably still be a believer. I should probaby envy you for being able to remain so optimistic. And you know what? I'll leave it be, in the sense that I'm not interested in some sort of ongoing schoolyard fight. So apologies if I perhaps went overboard.

Any release be it an EP or 60 minute CD, in this era of digital downloading, it's a waste of time and money. I am one of the old school CD or LP lovers like most of you guys and gals but the reason most classic rock bands survive now days is thanks to touring and limited digital market sales but not with full albums, that died in the 90's.
Like my son keeps preaching to me, if you can have all your favorite music at the palm of your hand on your phone, why waste money on plastic volume and clutter that CDs make? He has a valid point, but I still love my CDs specially Deluxe Box sets :-)

Wiki says Big Generator cost about $2 million in today's dollars to make. How much cheaper would it be today for ARW to make an album if Rabin is producing it? Are they concerned they will lose money on an album or an EP?

As you might expect, I'd say that I'm a realist, not an optimist with respect to ARW releasing "Fragile" and at least 15 to 20 more minutes of music with the caveat that it could appear on a Rabin solo album instead. Given that Rabin is a perfectionist, and that all three have pretty big egos, the delay doesn't surprise me.

Good question. I honestly don't know the answer to that.
"A lot of the heavier conversations I was having with Chris toward the end were about his desire for this thing to go forward. He kept reiterating that to me. He kept telling me, ‘No matter what happens, Yes needs to continue moving forward and make great music. So promise me that that’s something you want to do.’ And I have to keep making music. It’s just what I do. I’m a fan of the band and I want to see it thrive and that means new music." -Billy Sherwood (Quote edited to fit under character limit for sig files)

We'd get that next year and a new version with Trevor Horn singing on both songs in 2020.

At least both 'YES' bands pace to release new music is consistant i.e. glacial lol

Back on topic - Moraz playing on a tour is not really "big news" for me (as I care little for nostalgia tours whether YESO or ARW) but I appreciate it is for some. If it occurs it would be interesting if subsequently he is asked to feature on any new recording

Maybe this is another way of Howe 'kindling the fire'?

Would be cool to have Moraz, Howe, and Downes, together on some new music. I bet they could really orchestrate some interesting stuff and push.

Same goes for live. But seeing Moraz and Howe going wild performing Relayer?!! Ohhhh yeaaaaaah!

How big is "big"? I know of pieces by Peter Sinfield and by Lindsay Cooper that were played on the radio and never released.

There were 30 songs (mostly covers) The Beatles did on the radio that took around 30 years to be released on Live at the BBC and some more took 50 years to appear on On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2.
