    Relayer tour, big news....

NEWS: YES (official) with PAT MORAZ is *planning* to perform Relayer in its entirety, on 2019 tour. Patrick Moraz said Yes management asked him, no contract signed yet.

Pretty certain it will be Alan and Jay.

    I'm hoping it happens!

Who would've thought back in 1974 or 76 that Relayer would be getting played in 2019? You would've been laughed off the planet.

I would think a US summer tour for 2019, but I'm not expecting such a tour to hit Europe/UK before 2020 and then it still remains to be seen whether Moraz will come over with them. After all, we didn't get Kaye here either (yeah I know, probably a medical reason which Moraz doesn't have).

    Is that you?

    Silly question, I know....

Is the flute on the studio version?
I have never noticed it before, kinda like the barely audible cowbell during the verses for DirH.

Well that explains why Sherwood was at the Yes concert the other day, he was getting some tips on how vocal harmonies are supposed to work. They'll need them if they want to even approximate To Be Over.

wonderful news, great in the realm of all things Yes.

I also hope Patrick Moraz becomes involved with any new Yes music in the future... it would be wonderful to have his bright, happy spirit a part of the Yes family again.

I have been giving the song "Trail of tears" that Patrick Moraz plays on, quite a few listens lately, and I find it to be one of the best songs on Billy's solo album Citizen.... for me it might be a glimpse into the future of what a new Yes could sound like. Out of all the wonderful keyboard work on that album I will say that the keyboard work and solo in the song Trail of tears really really hits me in a wonderful way, it has such emotion and glorious feeling about it.... simply great... I can replay that solo over and over again just because it sounds and feels so good.... and i do! Sometimes in my car I repeat that solo a bunch of times just because....

It took a few listens to grow on me, but now i love it.....

A possible sound of things to come....??? I hope so... If you have never heard this song give it a listen, and hear Patrick's wonderful feel and vibe... it's there, and could be a part of the future.... working with Billy and Yes.... I really really hope so.

    [IMG][/IMG]

knowing it's Patrick, at 4:10 it can bring tears to my eyes.... almost leaving a trail of tears...
