This has been posted elsewhere and other sources mentioned Awaken was a strong possibility. I think the bigger news from this article is that Close to the Edge is also being played. No 90125 songs.

No mention of America but we’ve heard that’s also likely.

Not really a spoiler since Billy already said this a short while ago. Not surprised that there is no 90125 material to be played. With the first show only a few days away I'm going to post what I would like them to do for this tour(again!). I know it's beating a dead horse, but I'm a ever optimistic YES fan

I would actually prefer the FFH suite to CTTE, to be honest.

Re: White reveals song for US setlist : spoiler Alert

I think they'll keep the songs they have been playing in UK/Europe. And of course they have Tony with them and Moraz will be playing a Relayer song on the two philly dates. Now, if the first set from UK/Europe remains in tact (and why wouldn't it, I can't imagine them working those songs up just for one short tour) and the songs mentioned here are going to be played then CTTE and Awaken could be replacements for the Tales songs that made up the second set in the UK/Europe. And then of course the Relayer song...hmmm...

This might be sort of the setlist then:

    - Yours is No Disgrace
    - I've Seen All Good People
    - Sweet Dreams
    - Southside of the Sky
    - Onward
    - Clap or Mood for a Day
    - Wonderous Stories
    - Parallels
    - And You And I

    intermission

    - Close to the Edge
    - To Be Over
    - Awaken

    Encores:
    - Roundabout
    - Starship Trooper

That would make for about a 2 1/2 hrs. set. Tony would be on the first three and last two songs.

Only 'certain' insofar as you are concerned. Preferred perhaps, but not, and never, 'best'. That determination lies solely with the ears of the beholder.

    Again I just do agree…

Personally the Awaken of YesF is the best I ever heard so far… but yes, it is subjective…

That will prob be the setlist. Maybe Wondrous Stories will be dropped and a Drama track will be added but this is most likely it. Which is fine as this would be a damn good set. Honestly though I really wish they would just do Owner for the 50th Anniversary

I admit that I am not a great fan of ARW (no, I am not a "hater") - BUT - I find this sort of comment to be unnecessary. Both groups have their strengths. Why not just enjoy one or both groups without throwing punches?

Enjoy what we have left from both camps.

I think they may drop Southside since they've done that a lot lately. I predict they will do Nine Voices and Bring Me to the Power. Both songs were on Steve's Anthology 2. Something off of FFH is a possibility as well and more likely than Drama.

Also, I bet they do America with Tony Kaye.

Re: White reveals song for US setlist : spoiler Alert

On the plus side, I've never heard "Close to the Edge" live, so I'm looking forward to that. Obviously one of my favorite songs (See screen name). :) Wouldn't it be wild if they played that and "Awaken" back to back? Those are the two songs that people usually argue about as to which is the better Yes epic- both in one set list. I prefer CttE, but I'll take both. :)

I wish they'd do some 90125 or Big Generator, but I won't flog that dead horse right now. :) Hopefully we get some cool stuff from beyond that era, anyhow- which someone hinted at in an interview (Seeming to imply they'd do at least do one song). A few songs that represent the "back 40" of the 50 years for Yes' 50th. It wouldn't be a bad thing to get "Survival" carried over from last year in the US or "Sweet Dreams" from earlier this year in the UK, to represent the really early years, either.

It's kind of understood that the 70s hits are going to be a big part of the setlist. "Roundabout", "Starship Trooper", and "I've Seen All Good People" are obvious ones to do (and they should). "Long Distance Run-Around" would be a nice short one to add- maybe with "The Fish" on the back end. I think they could give "And You and I" a rest.

"A lot of the heavier conversations I was having with Chris toward the end were about his desire for this thing to go forward. He kept reiterating that to me. He kept telling me, ‘No matter what happens, Yes needs to continue moving forward and make great music. So promise me that that’s something you want to do.’ And I have to keep making music. It’s just what I do. I’m a fan of the band and I want to see it thrive and that means new music." -Billy Sherwood (Quote edited to fit under character limit for sig files)

It drives me nuts when people online don't know the difference between "your" and "you're".

I already have tickets, but if that is the set list, blaaaaaaah. If that, or something like that, is the wild set list Steve was talking about, he needs to put down the pipe. Really hoping for at least 2-3 rarely heard interesting tracks (Future Times/Rejoice, To Be Over, The More We Live, The Ancient, Arriving UFO, It Will Be A Good Day, Hep Yadda, Light of The Ages, and the list goes on...... But I understand it is mostly a 50th Legacy Greatest Hits tour. But how many times are they going to play the same songs? pffft. I'm just a spoiled and entitled Yes fan...

Exactly Rob. Each band has different strengths and weaknesses. Something different to enjoy about both bands for sure. Because my ideal favorite Yes or line up will never happen again. Enjoy what we have left and the great core members or otherwise in both bands! We're pretty lucky all things considered...
