    Wonderful!
Steve in great form too, and sounding so good through those Fenders.

    Very much agreed!

Tsongas has its moments of musical greatness which is true, but, Lugano is quite possibly one of THE best latter day Yes performances ever captured on film.

    Exquisite.

Rick agreed it was a great performance as well in his Christmas 2004 newsletter:

There were some highlights of course, for me Lugano being the pinnacle of the European leg. It poured with rain but the audience were just amazing. …Very wet…but amazing! Swiss TV filmed it and they did a fantastic job too.

And the band were amazing. I'm very much enjoying revisiting this DVD.

But then again - there ain't nothing better than the Tsongas South Side Of The Sky, what an energy, what a tension, what an inspiration, in the whole song and in the guitar-key-duel in the end. Since they established that guitar-keyboard-orgy 2002 -2004 it is abolutely impossible to play that song without it, like YesF do now - big minus-point for them.

Peter, this isn't the Steve and Rick thread

Lugano has plenty of Squire, and the whole band. Tsongas, not as much. imho

The official live release I keep going back to from that period is Montreux for both audio and video. But there are some awesome boots kicking around too.
