Jon and Rick have made vague comments in recent interviews about big plans for some kind of special event, but there's been nothing definitive yet. I hope they'll be some kind of announcement next month, at least, but maybe not until January.

    Re: ARW 50th Activities!?

When is it considered the 50th? From the time the band formed, or from the release of the first album? If you recall, the "10 True Summers" 10th anniversary tour was in 1979, not 1978. (1978 was the Tourmato tour)

I think they are planning to aggravate the usual suspects on this site no matter what they do.

I'm hearing they want to one-up YesO and are trying to get Casey Young to join on second keyboards...

I hardly think that ribbing the boys for running on at the mouth qualifies as hate. Some of us love what they're doing onstage and roll our eyes at their offstage verbiage, nuance much?

So an interactive thing, then, for a one-time event? I was wondering if it was going to be just projections in place of what they used before. They can do some amazing things with 7D for sure.

    This ^^
ReAwaken (after the Bethlehem Sands concert 2016):
Sometimes in music, the songs can transcend the band members themselves - I think Yes is such a band.

From what we have been fed, it's the release of a live DVD at the beginning of next year, then a new album to follow that and the special event that has been mentioned.
