New Roger Dean ‘Close To The Edge’ paintings

Roger Dean (whose fantastical landscapes and logos have become synonymous with the band’s albums) will unveil new ‘Close To The Edge‘ paintings at the Palladium on March 25th.

It's a very nice makeover, looks very fresh and the layout is easy to follow.

I'd love an original Roger Dean.

It's way, way down at the bottom of the site . . Tony as a guest.

That is only the link to follow YESofficial on FaceBook. Still not YESworld.

Okay, but given the announcement regarding Tony has been made on all their other social media outlets - Facebook, Twitter and Instagram - I would say it's official enough.

    Hide your wives and daughters!

I agree with you that all the social media stuff on the official accounts is good enough for me to consider it official. Tony is planning on being there.

I think sometimes old-fashioned websites get overlooked a little when bands and promoters come up with marketing strategies these days- it's almost all social media and then the regular website winds up being an afterthought or an "if you want to delve deeper" kind of thing. As someone who's not on social media, I can't say that that turn of events pleases me, but I'll live. :)

It's good to see Tony back with the band as a special guest!
"A lot of the heavier conversations I was having with Chris toward the end were about his desire for this thing to go forward. He kept reiterating that to me. He kept telling me, 'No matter what happens, Yes needs to continue moving forward and make great music. So promise me that that's something you want to do.' And I have to keep making music. It's just what I do. I'm a fan of the band and I want to see it thrive and that means new music." -Billy Sherwood (Quote edited to fit under character limit for sig files)

Still amazed it's not mentioned on YESworld. Even after the update.

If you want actual Yes news Henry's site is the one to go to. Yesworld is, was, and always has been little more than an online flyer promoting things with no sense of urgency at all in keeping things current in terms of "news". Henry's site is the *real* Yesworld.

I was fortunate to be shown the original Relayer painting in SF when I was there.
It was priced at more than $1m.

While Yesworld has improved somewhat over the years, it remains mediocre in terms of timely information. It is still better than YesF's which has not been updated in months.

But YesworldO has got the continuity and the history and the the......! It's the band's, that's always been there! Real fans would never even talk about YesworldF!

That's not what the official announcements on Yesofficial twitter and FB says.
