Jon Anderson on new Progressive Rock Cruise

So yeah , they must be making the bucks on these things. (let me know if there is another thread of this ilk.)

He should just jump on the Yes cruise
So when we do concerts with any Yes music, I always say, there’s certain things you have to play that Chris played because without those notes, the voice doesn’t sing correctly. - Jon Anderson

For me, it's Jon Anderson's distinctive, light but husky vocal that is as characteristic of their sound as anything - Andy MacIntyre

Interesting idea. I can't even begin to think of what would happen if Jon Anderson bought a ticket. Could you imagine he and the band trapped on a floating vessel on the high seas for six days? An oceanic adventure even more dramatic than the Poseidon Adventure!

I'd rather see Jon hook up with a actual band on a Country/Blue Grass cruise.

There is something disturbing about our boys doing these cruises. It may just be the last step before they vanish all together.
At least Chuck Mangione made it to King Of The Hill, or was that The Simpsons?

Competing prog cruses in the Caribbean?

How long before pirate radio ships reappear to plunder and pillage these tasty targets?

    Into the Bermuda Triangle?

That would make a great concept album!

Anyone know what Jon's setlist looked like last night for the cruise's opening night?

I wanted to start a new thread on this, but I guess there is no point. Scottie told me that while waiting outside the keswick theater for the transatlantic show, he heard them rehearsing the Remembering. Wow.
