    Cruise to the Edge 2014

Yes have been invited next year but not confirmed. We got a letter through the door on the second last day of the Cruise, asking us to sign up next year for a $99 Deposit.
Apparently it will be in April next year, on a Larger Vessel, and will leave from Miami.

Would be fantastic if it actually happened during a time I could take off work and with less stormy seas. ;-)

Very happy you had a great time, Brian and the Mrs. :-)

Will it be MSC again? That will be the Divina ship then, it's going to call Miami home.

The Carl Palmer Band - I have to mention them in every post - will definitely be at next year's event, according to CP hisself.

O my goodness! Thank you for the news, Brian. That's exciting :)

P.S. So Geoff's infamous Twitter account is back up and running? I shall check it out... cautiously.

Ahh: more breaking news - he and Chris Squire got their hair cut together. Male bonding thing, I guess.

And let us pray for better weather too, and different ports of call (not that I disliked Jamaica & Grand Cayman at all, but just so we'll have more repeat cruisers).

Bee, did you take any photos? I want to see Geoff 'n Chris' new haircuts :)

Perhaps if they are doing a UK tour next year then we might expect them to do a weeks residency on the Hull-Zeebrugge ferry?

Would Kansas be a good band for this cruise?

Kansas would be great. They were very powerful opening for Yes in 2000.
Maybe this should be it's own thread, but here are a few artists that would be fun on the cruise:

    Strawbs
    Donovan
    Levin, Torn, White
    Mike Oldfield
    Lost In The Trees
    Starcastle
    Elizabeth Frazer

    This

Although it has been confirmed the Ferry from Liverpool to Dublin is very profitable

The Dover to Calais Ferry has been declined for the fear of too much cheap booze being smuggled on the way back
