Yes, pop-pickers, Yes actually appeared on 'Top of the Pops' back in 1977 with 'Wondrous Stories'. I'm guessing it was a video recording of them but still. I knew I had heard some of their stuff before and know this makes sense that I heard it while very small. Yes on 'Top of the Pops'. Watching these old 'Top of the Pops' with interest at how strange the line-ups were and, of course, with an added layer of perhaps negativity with all the Savile stuff. But that's a side issue. Yes on 'Top of the Pops'.
The boys sold out!Or perhaps the lovely Legs & Co danced to it or something dressed as pixies.

I wouldn't be suprised if it was the well known Wonderous Stories promo vid..http://youtu.be/XNx4Y6z1rAg
They looked very cool at this point i have to say!
TOTP did at one time do an album spot..and THE YES ALBUM was featured, cant recall what song it was though..Pete/Meng can you remember?
Robin
I can't remember even seeing it. I do remember reading someone (Chris Welch?) saying that they were refused the Album Spot because the producer didn't like them, but got to play in a "lesser" spot instead.
I also remember reading somewhere that they did Starship Trooper and America for TOTP, but whether either or both were used - who knows?

...so marvelously had it been constructed, that from a hundred feet away the tiny crack between wood and stone was completely invisible.
Now then! Now then!

Goodness! You sure do have a stash! (re: Sally James)
So, did anyone actually watch this? What was the Yes video? It's on the BBC's iPlayer thingy for another week, though those of us who don't pay a licence fee (i.e. aren't in the UK) are blocked from watching it.

The previous week's show has been posted on utub, with Yes at 13 in the top 30, so perhaps this week's show is not too far behind:
