I would prefer a cd release of the tour they've just completed :)

I don't do music DVDs these days. So, if I were it, I'd be for an audio release- I'd say CD, but I'd really mean digital download.

I'm not sure I'm for it, though. It depends on the set list really. I'm sick of the same old live songs on every release. I'm not the type who likes paying for the same songs over and over again. Basically, I'd be for a mix of live 80s songs from 90125 and Big Generator, mixed in with live versions of songs from Drama that weren't on the last album, and live versions of some Fly from Here songs. That'd be awesome- songs for which live versions don't exist or are rare. Basically, if it's going to be In the Present with a slightly different band lineup from a song or of Keys to Ascension tossed in, though, well, I already have In the Present and Keys to Ascension, so I'd probably pass.

As I don't think I will get to see Jon D. do the material from the southern hemisphere and summer USA tours a copy would be nice, but there is no need to limit it to recordings of the cruise. If there's some special stuff happening on the cruise, by all means include it, but only if it warrants it...

Not if it is comprised mostly of the same songs they have played for the last 40 years.

^ That is a rather open ended statement. I would purchase the cd/dvd FOR the difference.

I voted first and then read the other comments.

I had assumed that the hope was for a live DVD/CD release before the tour to boost publicity and as such this would have probably come from the last tour.

It would be a great opportunity to capture the magic of this line-up live, before the recording of their new album... Make a DVD! Capture, capture, capture............... On a sailing ship!

and a fly on the wall capturing the making and rehearsals for the next album.
