    Which version of "No Opportunity Necessary, No Experience Required" do you like best, the original with the orchestra, or the version recorded at the Beat Club, with only the band and no orchestra?

    The original. Even if everybody was unhappy with the orchestra, IMO it gives the TAAW songs a bonus.
    By the way, is it just me or does the Beat Club version sound extremely fast?

    I like 'em both . . . frankly, I thought that the orchestra on TAAW was OK. It was pretty good considering the year.

    But, I'd have to give the edge to the 'naked' version . . . it has a lot more excitement, and the Hammond has a better sound than a string section.

    Then I go for the live version, simply because it's the band and sounds fresh and energetic. I also like the studio track, which was their vision of the studio experience.
