In talking to Jon Kirkman this week he informed me he'd eventually managed to interview Benoit about his time and departure from Yes. "Benoit did an hour or so on the phone and I got the real reason he left yes and he wasn't treated badly by the band at all it was his idea but it was a very honest interview"
Jon also had an interview with Jon Davison coming up and was also due to talk to Alan White this week "about his first year in Yes and also about his first solo album Ramshackled" (as he mentioned on his fb page)
All up, by publication (the book will be at the publishers by next week, Published by Rufus Stone in November 2012) he will have interviewed 16 of the 18 principal players in Yes with the only missing interviews being Trevor Horn and Igor Koroshev.
I, for one, am really looking forward to this book.

Looks like a very interesting book. All though I'm not sure how much more in detail we can get to read things after Chris Welch' "CTTE: the Story of Yes" book and the 1991 Yesyears and 2007 Classic Yes rockumentaries (last one also by Chris Welch) and also Bruford's biography, all though that last one is just one person's take on things. How much untold stuff is there, apart from maybe the last 3-4 years?
