Cruise to the Edge - UK Yesfans

I would like to suggest that for those UK Yesfans who may be considering going on the cruise - even if it's an outside chance - it may be helpful to pool our resources and share information here. Whether it's comparing flight prices, hotel prices (if required), (sharing) car hire (if required), etc. let's use this thread.

Following Sheerah's suggestion I checked flights to Miami compared to Ft Lauderdale and discovered that there are indeed some substantially cheaper flights - at least from London. Most flights were about the same, but one company was offering flights at £461, compared with flight to Ft L at about £505. The difference may be eaten up in hotel bills if the dates don't or in additional transport costs to FT L, though I gather it's only about a 30-40 minute interstate drive.

If you could guarantee that Mr Holland, aka Victor Meldrew, won't be on board, I might consider it.

Do you? Do you? Eh? Because if you do you're just letting Hitler win. Plus your football team will still be rubbish, you'll make the Baby Jesus cry, and this little kitten will drown. And that's a fact."

Maybe Yes could do a cruise on the Thames for the European fans.

Perhaps they could play Pretty Vacant and God Save the Queen while they're about it - though it's a bit late for that, given the Diamond Jubilee has now passed. Though seriously, a Norwegian Fjord cruise would make a superb backdrop.

I think he's pretty much guaranteed that himself.
