Another great one. I just happen to love Claire Hammill's voice.

Saw Punj's answer before he went with white font, although on my own I would have only gotten the song Arriving UFO .(<white font.) Don't listen the other albums very much.

Do you have a really obscure song with which we have to identify the famous guitarist?

Ok, here's a fairly obscure one from Mr Howe, just one song but what is it?

^ Correct! The B Side of Dont Kill The Whale and included on the Tormato remaster ( as well as Yesyears I think)

Of all the rarities and B sides and the like, that was always my favorite... not sure why, just like the feel of it, the dual Anderson + Howe vocal... just dig it.

I'm guessing Roger Fisher. According to discogs there were three guitarists on the LP version, including two on "Lead." The possibly more reliable Allmusic review of the single gives Nancy Wilson more credit but neither answers the question of who did the solo. I'm guessing Fisher because unlike Howard Lesse (the other guitarist credited with "lead" duties by Discogs), Fisher appears to handle the lead guitars more than anyone else on the album as a whole, and he co-wrote the song. Based on youtube videos, Nancy W. doesn't appear to be the soloist...

^ Yeah, it must have been Fisher, I dont think Nancy or even Howard Leese were capaple of playing solos like that :)

DREAMER: I hope it is okay I piggyback on your great thread rather than start another thread.

Identify the Yes song from 19 seconds of bassline only:

Letting me know whether this one is too easy or difficult would be appreciated. Chris's basslines are so distinctive it's hard coming up with one that would challenge a listener. (For the record, I am not the player. I will credit the musician covering this bassline after this game is done.)

^ Certainly is ok with me, please have a go anyone else by all means! Actually I knew what that was straight away, I've tried to play it on bass myself, I wont say - I'll let someone else have a go..

Thanks for the okay. He is such a challenging bass player to do this game with. I had to pick the blandest part of the song, and still I fear it will be too easy for both musicians and non-musicians.

I think I got that one too. Is it LDR <white font>?

A nice variation on the theme by the way.

Thanks, Punj. Your answer is correct! And your use of white font is a great idea, too. I like it a lot! (But when quoting, one should delete the characters because of the quote box being gray.)
