Ok, here goes with another one. A longer solo this time, I'm sticking to bands that have a forum here on Yesfans so shouldn't be too difficult.
(Interestingly, Youtube recognised the song instantly and blocked it in some countries but should be ok in Europe/USA!)

It does sound like something from Genesis. Could be somebody from a Genesis tribute album but I have to agree with the two posts above either Steve Hackett, Mike Rutherford and I'll throw in Anthony Phillips.
It is Genesis and it is Mike Rutherford playing guitar - that should narrow it down a bit for you.
I think it is off of ...And then there were three. Maybe Wind and Wuthering or Spot the pigeon EP. Now I got to go and find my records.
Yes it is from And Then There Were Three, Burning Rope is the song. A great first lead guitar solo from Mike R!
That was one of the better tunes off that record. I have only played that song a few times but it is one of Genesis' hidden gems. I think they only played it live on the Then There Were 3 tour.
^ Yeah, I love that song, it really sounds as though as it could have been on Wind and Wuthering. Another solo to follow soon.
