    maybe he is still pissed off about it..

    I'm surprised not many have voted for the FFH suite. It's no longer the current lineup, has been in the set long enough to be seen by most fans by the end of the summer, and isn't all that good.

    If they want to lean towards Geoff's contributions I'd be happy if they ditched that and Life on a Film Set and played the rest of FFH and some deeper cuts from Drama.

    I'm surprised the newly added 'America' is getting as many votes as it is, since it was also voted as one the songs best played this tour in a poll for that.

    I voted for it because even though it was performed well, Yes have much better songs to choose from in their catalogue IMO like on the silent wings, it can happen or to be over

    Hmmm, they might be better songs, but would they be able to play them on stage as well as they did 'America'??

    I choose the lot. The shows were decent this tour, but the setlist was one of the most unimaginative ones in years.
    Yesshows attended (22): 4/84, 1/88, 7/91 (x2), 8/94, 8/98, 10/99, 8/00, 8/01, 8/02, 10/02, 4/04, 5/04, 9/04 (x2), 12/08, 7/09, 6/10, 3/11 (x2), 7/12, 4/13 || Yes member gigs: Steve solo ’00 [w/GTR ’86], [w/Asia ’92, ’07 (x2), ’09, ’12] | Jon & Alan charity gig ’99 | Alan drum clinic ’89 | Bill drum clinics ’83 & ’85 [w/Crimso ’95] | Patrick solo ’98, ’11 [w/Moodies ’86 (x2), ’88] | Rick solo ’03, ’09 | Geoff [w/Asia ’92, ’07 (x2), ’09, ’12]

    I think between 2008-2010 they were some more unimaginative ones.....

    Even with TF, MM, and AT being performed for the first time in decades? Wow.

    YIND because I'd rather see Jon Davison sing Siberian Khatru
    TF because I'd rather see any other song from Drama
    ISAGP because , as good a song as it is, it needs to be retired for a decent while to create a space in the set for something more contemporary

    I voted for FFH as that was the place in the show where I really was falling asleep. Sorry but it is the truth. :( It just dragged on for me.

    Agree with those who said Fly From Here suite. I'd be game if they pulled a couple songs off of the second side and filled in a few "other" songs for the remaining time like say... To Be Over or perhaps On the Silent Wings of Freedom or.. a couple from Time and a Word album

    ISAGP firm in the lead, with TF in second place.

    So many to choose from, but basically YIND, AGP and Roundabout have been beaten to death.

    They need to drop ALL of these songs and dig deeper into their catalog. I'm tired of hearing the same set list over the past few years.

    In all fairness; they hadn't played 'Wondrous Stories', 'Awaken' and 'America' since 2004 and the FFH suite was never played before last year. Timing wise that is about half of the setlist. I think that why people, including myself, feel it is often the same setlist is that there are always a certain amount of usual suspects around, mostley Roundabout, ISAGP, ST, YIND, HotSR and up till the last tour Owner. However looking at the setlists from 2008 till now, they have always tried to put it songs that haven't been played either much or in a long time. As someone else pointed out in this thread, when they started again in 2008 they put Tempus Fugit, Machine Messiah, Astral Traveller and Onward on the setlist, songs that at that time hadn't been playes in 25-40 years. The last tour before that in 2004 we got Mind Drive, Going for the One, Turn of the Centrury, South side of the Sky (started in 2003), Sweet Dreams, Rhythm of Love, Every Little Thing and Time is Time, songs that were not played for 10 years (GFTO, TotC) till songs never played before (Mind Drive, Time is Time).

    Realistically looking, they aren't doing such a bad job and one has to keep in mind there's always part of the audience that have come for the usual suspects. They have to find middleground to please both the die hard fans and the more casual concert attender and I think sometimes it's not easy to strike a balance there, but as said I think they have been doing not to shabby a job over the years.
