I love it. Your nostrils must have been completely non-functional at that point!

I just read a news article about a teen mother who brought her 2 year old child to visit her grandmother, only to have the child mistakenly eat some of granny's crack. Grandmother of the year award goes to that family. Nearly as bad as the grandmother of little Adolph Hitler in Pennsylvania, who was released to his grandmother' custody until it was discovered that she was passed out in the back of her car in her own vomit.

Anyway, I digress. I found this interesting...and chilling. Acid, unlike Trix, is NOT for kids.

I inadvertently dropped some opium in a cat's bowl of food. He spent most of the evening with his head in a paper bag.

Yes; but what effect did the opium have on him?

I trained the Chow in my avatar to let me take his food bowl away from him while he was eating.

Try that with a Chow and watch your hand get bit.

My little guy knew not to bite the hand that feeds him.

No, it definitely isn't. I don't remember much about my experience, except that I was alternately horrified and engaged. I did go to the hospital, if I remember correctly.

Yesterday I witnessed someone getting tased, pull the wires out, get tased again. Then the cops kicked the crap out of them.

He came into our store. He was acting very strange. We thought he was going to rob us. We called the cops. He was wandering around the parking lot when the fuzz showed up. Someone said he swallowed some drugs when they confronted him.

At least they didn't shoot him. A Chicago cop got shot on the southside last night.

And I thought it was bad when mom gave our cat a piece of jalapeρo cheese by mistake. Poor Oliver started drinking lots of water after his first few bites.

I once cut 2 decks of cards simultaneously....and got the ACE Of SPADES on both! (the death card).
I was very careful for the next few days.

Those odds are astronomical on both events!
I once won with a royal straight flush in a five card draw poker game. I was dealt the K, Q, J, 10 of hearts and then drew the Ace! Too bad it was crummy dime ante poker with my high school friends at basketball camp.

I watched all three Lord of the Rings films (extended versions) back to back (on several occasions).

I watched all six Star Wars films back to back (order I-VI, for those of you who might be curious).

I watched all three Matrix films back to back.

I watched a whole series of 24 in one day.

I rode a camel two weeks ago - very gentle, loving creatures. One laid it's head on my shoulder as I was stroking it's neck.

That same day a parrot that was sitting on my shoulder kissed me.

    What an experience.

I'm not sure if that's a serious question or not, given that the show is supposed to cover a 24-hour period, but to answer seriously ... it took about 18 hours including breaks. Each episode (if you skip the "Previously on 24" bit and the credits) is actually only about 40-42 minutes long (no ad breaks either, of course), so it takes about 16 hours to watch the lot. However, over a 16-hour period I find it useful to be able to stop for the loo, lunch, dinner, tea and so on. So 18 hours just about does it. I've done it a couple of times (how sad is that?).

It was meant half- seriously (why would I single '24' out from the rest otherwise?). I'm a binger on TV shows, too, but not sat down and watched a whole series in a row-maybe one episode every couple of days. I've watched nearly all of Star Trek Original series but am approaching the very last episode and feel silly to feel a bit sad that it is coming to an end. Idiot that I am :)

With the ad breaks taken out, most shows that last an hour are 42 minutes or so. Except for the Beeb, of course, where an hour IS an hour.

I finished doing just that last week.

Currently working my way through the animated series. Never seen 'em before.

I watched all five seasons of Six Feet Under in less than a week. Best TV show EVER.
