Mike,as regards your post I would go in favour of the players. There has been little or nothing done to eradicate the problem of racism by the FA or UEFa. Let's see what sanctions are brought against Serbia following the horrible scenes shown. More to the point tell me about racism when of your own players is subjected to racist remarks & the FA do nothing about it.

I would have to slightly disagree with you there, Paul. I think there have been genuine efforts made in this country by our FA in recent years, certainly in comparison to UEFA who, by contrast, have done mostly diddly squat. They have let some Eastern European nations in particular get away with blue murder.

Brilliant photo, which reminds me what a wonderful world this is that we live in. I can't see the sunset as I have no view to the west, but I get some good sunrises, and sometimes they can be colourful too.

    Lame, naive, laughable and stupid

    Classy!

I'm just debating with myself whether or not to buy a limited edition 21 mega-pixel dusk print of Avebury in snowy winter.

£45 at the local craft market today.....

So it's wrong for brothers to defend each other ? Given the abuse Anton Ferdinand got from John Terry I would support my brother. I am disappointed in you Mike, you either think that racism is acceptable or you must be very stupid ?

Fergie had no right in making a player wear the Anti racism vest. Ferdinand does not believe enough is being done by the footballing authorities to stamp out racism. Hughes has nothing to do with United. I also know that the FA are not whiter than white in respect of anti racism. If any of the footy followers want to PM me I will gladly elaborate my knowledge.

Anton is Hughes player - he acted differently to Ferguson's reaction with Rio - why ?

Suarez wore the vest and we know the history there

Surley for a United front ( forgive ther pun ) if would have been better for the brothers to wear the vest to confirm like the rest of us that we want it stamped out

I don't know, I'm not his manager. My only thought is Fergie wanted his players to wear the vest as David Gill has been appointed onto the FA board & wanted it to look as though he was showing support. Other than that I can't answer.
