I love Stargazer by Rainbow. RJD's finest hour IMO and my all time fave Rainbow tune.

Anyway, I came across this on my Youtube travels today. Cute blonde babe belting it out for all she's worth, karaoke style. Great stuff!

I'm thinkin' Mr Meng might enjoy this one...

Very cool. She has a very sweet disarming and down to earth presence. And I loved the text cards during the guitar break.

Re: Thread for UK Yesfans - Part 21

This one's for either the Lizard Man or the Dark Lord (or anyone else for that matter!)....

The DVD/Bluray of Prometheus is due for release imminently. I had heard rumours that this was to include a special Director's Cut of the movie featuring an extra 15/16 mins or so of extra footage which apparently gives a little more insight behind the story of the Engineers.

However, looking at the specs for this release on the likes of Amazon, Play, etc, I can find no mention of this. Do either of you two guys know if it's true or not? I've scoured the web but can find no official confirmation.

Edit.... I just did another search and have indeed found an official confirmation of the bluray's extras. Deleted scenes, but sadly, no Director's Cut. If you go for the deluxe (and no doubt ultra expensive) 4 disc set, then there are a fair number of other goodies but still no DC. I guess we'll have to wait several more months before we get that....and fork out yet more money!

Sadly, Paul, I think you're right. It appears that the extra scenes are simply deleted scenes to be watched separately and not edited into the film. Very unsatisfying.

Now then, what about that cruise? Anybody even thinking of going? I must admit I've dared to dream.

Ah, I see! I don't recall that particular recording, but I do remember The Scaffold - and thinking that they were truly awful! Even as a kid, I always hated novelty bands.
