    Hi

    A very infrequent visitor now

Altres suspended - does not surprise me one bit

    On with the show
For the last couple of millennia, the Messiah has been a figure who would re-appear to bring salvation. If using that metaphor, would it not be better applied to those who think Jon Anderson's return would solve all of Yes's problems and usher in a new golden era? Henry

Wow! No posts at all for two whole days and not too many over the previous week. It's the UK Thread, Jim, but not as we know it.

After four years and 21 parts, is this really how it all ends?

Or, to put it another way, WTF is everyone?!!!!

With Brian off the site, I wouldn't be surprised if attendance has dropped across the board.

I doubt it. There is one person here who is quite prominent on the site as a poster, so prominent that it is obvious who that person is. It wouldn't be out of place as such to name them, and I don't think they would care if I did, but on balance I probably think best not to-it's pretty obvious, anyway, well to me it is, I have noticed their absence, because that person is somebody who means something to me on this site. Maybe others wouldn't notice at all.
    But I have noticed.
Maybe it's the same with Brian. Some notice, some don't.
He obviously made an error of judgement, though, and it is obvious that somebody who may not be familiar with his ways would take offence. Now I don't for one second think that he meant to offend as he is not racist in any way, but he could come back now if he so wished-if my understanding of the rules of suspension is correct, of course- a week for a suspension and not a permanent ban?

The site goes on even if people are suspended. No one individual is that important as far as the site goes. Make an error and come back if you want, if you don't then fine, too, that's what I think. A few people may notice my absence, but the vast majority won't.

Thank you. I would miss you, too, as you are a calm and reasonable presence. I mean Brian's presence on the site as opposed to this thread. On this thread, I think people would notice. But maybe not the site as a whole as there is so much traffic. It's not like a site that has very few members.

I think you're right, there is probably a connection between the two. I can't know for sure of course and it may just conceivably be pure coincidence, but there are several previously prominent posters who have been pretty conspicuous by their absence since Brian's ban/suspension. I hope he (and they) come back soon.

Not been about much due to one disaster after another at our new home. We are frightened to do anything in case anything else goes wrong.

Paul/Normski - really sorry to hear you are still having major problems with your new house. Is this in anyway connected to your Head Or Heart thread you posted yesterday?

I have a busy job guys so if you can listen and post a review here then that would be great

You can catch up with it at the end of the week when it's available as a single recording, without all the jingles, competitions, traffic news, news, weather reports, adverts for upcoming shows and other bollocks that generally takes up most of the time available to broadcasters. I tuned in twice so far to see if Steve was on yet and all I got was inane waste-my-time rubbish. But thanks for the heads up, Mike.

The UK's biggest mid-morning show featuring Tracks of my years from Steve Howe guitarist with the band Yes. Today Steve picks a classic Elvis Presley hit and a famous instrumental by Mason Williams from 1968. Plus the Popmaster quiz, the daily love song and the latest travel news.
