Could be, or could just be, post tour there ain't much to say, other than speculate endlessly about Yes' next move. Or US Politics, which is fine but...

Another sunny day. Club football now takes a back seat for a while as we get the tedious International qualifying games. Expect Scotland to come a glorious third in their group, recriminations and resignations all round to follow.

Sunny in London too. Are you still in Saudi?

So Brian's banned. That really sucks. Sometimes you do have to wonder about this place.

My laptop almost gave up the ghost about a week ago, hence my absence. All seems OK for now, fingers crossed.

LFC - what can I say, we have become a laughing stock. The current U.S owners seem as clueless as the last. About as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Good to see you back, Paul. Sounds like your PC almost also became the proverbial teapot.

Despite the injury, at least one of your players is helping West Ham to stay in the top half of the table. He may not have scored, but the opposition have found him hard to handle in and around the box. oo-er

Once he'd posted the South Park clip, it became clear what he was getting at, but without any of that, he had set himself up for reprisals. He may have intended to play it out like that - to give people a reason to be offended and then let them down gently, in the manner of the South Park clip. Or he may have expected people to already be familiar with the clip and thus get the joke straight away. I don't know, I can only guess, but either way, he could've guessed what would happen next. I hope he comes back.

Yes, I hope he comes back, too. I know that Brian is not a racist, sexist or anything else 'ist' -crikey, he is the most PC person on here, but I suppose not everybody gets his humour and when all is said and done, it's all a fine line sometimes. He's probably guilty of being a bit silly and forgetting that not everybody is going to appreciate his humour-we're all a bit guilty of that, but I don't think for one moment that he meant to give offence. Anyway, hope he is back soon.

I'm sure he didn't mean to offend. But unfortunately his original post was bound to be offensive, or seen as such. Hopefully he'll be back.

Oh yes, absolutely. If I didn't know what sort of person he was-this is a man who supports gay marriage and appears not to have a racist or sexist bone in him, I would see it as offensive, too.

Hopefully Levein will be the first - I can't be doing with his two-faced attitude. Still hope Scotland do well though. Not prepared to pay for SkySports, so I'll watch down the local masonic club.

I think your 100% right about Brian. I can't think of anything really contentious that he's posted in the past, so maybe a PM from the mods would have sufficed. Considering some of the disgraceful attitudes of some towards each other which has gone unpunished, you have to feel that Brian has been a bit hard done by. That said, I think he was only temporarily suspended.

And what about the Broofster? And the Duchess? Haven't seen too much of those two round these parts lately?
