Yeah, they should open with SK and drop YIND like a hot tater.

Great show. Yours is no Discrace was a Discrace but the band hit their stride with All Good People and The Rest of the show was beautiful. With outstanding performances of America, Clap, leaves of Green, the best Wonderous stories, and HOTS done to perfection. Awaken worth the price of admision. Geoff your spot on and Jon your truly I think cloned:))
I want to see Yes start putting some songs away for good. YIND because it was so terrible and HOTS because it was so good let this be the way it is remebered. Another thing is I am tired of everyone trying to Boo Hoo that Wakeman is not with them. It is all of the variety of Keyboardist that haved played with Yes that Keeps them interesting. My first Yes experience was Yessongs in the Movie theatre in 1975 and when I as a 12 year old child bought my first Yes Ticket to 1976 solo album tour I was upset that Wakeman was not going to be with them. Well let me tell you after that mind blowing concert. I was upset to see Wakeman Return.
It amazed me how Steve absolutely nailed America, yet noodle-doodled his way through YIND. It's an awkward song for an opener anyway. He needs to listen to the Yessongs version for a refresher.
Igor and Brislin were brilliant on keyes. And somebody finally showed up for work and tweaked Geoff's mix thank goodness.
BTW welcome to the Yesfans, Coby.
Hold on to the miracle of life...
Actually Yours is no discrace is a good opener for example Yes House of Blues DVD with Igor sounds really good but this tour the tempo is so slow and Steves improv this year was very weak it felt like a jumbo jet that did not have enough speed to keep airborn and at any moment I felt like it was going to crash. Did you catch the Portsmouth show? It was off to a rough start on Tempus Fugit Geoffs Vocoder did not work on the first chorus so we got to hear his actual voice say yes yes. I am not complaining this is live music and stuff happens. I have seen many a great band have rough starts The Allman Brothers, Jethro Tull one time stopped and restarted a song they were so off but both of these shows were awsome and very good shows. I hate it when people want everything to sound just like the album. Where is the fun in that:))
I agree!! I am having problems with my computer so I have to give review in bits and pieces so after my Jumbo jet analogy Tempus Fugit was flawed a little but fun When they played Your move All good people that is when everything came together and the rest of the classics were played very very well. I looked at my best friend who I have been going to shows with since 1976 and said this new Jon is from the fricking twilight zone. I was amazed at how well he sang the music and the set list was way cool. Now for me to see them again I want them to do something really off the wall that only the true fans will understand. Open the next tour with Future Times and do Silent Wings in its entire form as a showpiece for Chris. That is the kind of stuff that will Keep me coming back for more. Love this band they are like family to me and I love Jon Anderson but life is such and I worry how frail Jon looks these days.
Welcome to Yesfans! Glad they pulled you back in.
Saw the Boston show and I really love this new lineup. Thanks for the review.
