Loved the decade's music and films.

Ah, the 70's. The grass was greener. The sun was shining. The neighborhood BBQ's tasted better. There was a video of Gary Wright on a thread, so it made me think back to that magical time...(cue dreamy, wavy film look and strange music). Don your cut-offs, get your van painted, but avoid the Pacers.
Post things you remember and love about the 70's:

She's an equal opportunity offender, a societal wildcard. You can't control her, only hope to contain her, even then she refuses to be possessed. If she were a coin, you would spend her, unwillingly. If she were an animal, you'd free her to the wilderness.

Love these songs:
"Rikki Don't Lose That Number" is one of those "upper echelon" songs for me. It's a Desert Island-Must Have for me. I still remember the summer of '74 and me (being a kid) playing under the giant willow tree at my aunt's house outside of Pittsburgh PA. I remember the weather,. I almost remember every blade of grass in her yard, the sounds of Rikki playing on the radio...so strong that song affects me.
