I would think they ALL know that one last round would sell tickets, would be the right way (in the fans eyes) to close up the YES shop. It may only be 10 or 15 shows at best due to EVERYONE'S health/age by then but I think it would a great move if they did. Then let JD and who ever to move on and create a new and diff YES into the furture.

My gut feeling is "no", but I wouldn't be surprised if they got together for a few shows for old time's sake whenever they decide to call it a day for good.

Cargo of diamonds as you are: nothing more valuable, nothing more tough.
She's an equal opportunity offender, a societal wildcard. You can't control her, only hope to contain her, even then she refuses to be possessed. If she were a coin, you would spend her, unwillingly. If she were an animal, you'd free her to the wilderness.
Album? NO.
Live? Maybe.
I'd rather see them work on new material with GD and JD.
Iv always thought they will and that remains. For an album? unlikely. For a live show sometime somewhere in the next few years, hell yeah.
Chris and Jon have both not ruled it out, when i spoke to Alan in '09 i think it was, he seemed to think it was going to happen in 2010 and seemed positive about the possibility. Rick has moaned and groaned but will follow Jon and remember Rick apologised on YesYears for slagging off Drama so hes got form. Which leaves Steve who surely wouldn't veto it if everyone else fancied it, for old times sake. Maybe the R&R hall of fame is the most likely time, if they're all still alive.

My gut instinct is that, barring tragedy, some sort of reinvolvement of Jon Anderson in this band in some capacity feels inevitable. Call it wishful thinking. I have doubts about Rick Wakeman though so I guess my vote is "No" as I have a feeling we won't see that full lineup again.
I'm with you here so far as that I can also see some sort of reinvolvement of Jon Anderson in this band, albeit it being a short one, a few one off shows or something like that. Wakeman on the other hand I do not see returning, so all in all the answer to the question asked is: "No, it won't happen again."
The mind is like a parachute; it works much better when it's open.
Doubtful... I'd give Anderson ever returning for anything at 5% and Wakey even less...
Sadly...
It is what it is...

Tom, Bert, Bill??? Which troll are you today?
"Hippies please use side door"
"It is Best To Consult Others Before Taking Unusual Actions"
I'm not sure who's more dangerous, the band or the fans.....
I hope not.
Davison sings the songs now like Anderson could then.
Couldn't care less if Rick never played in the band again. There's no room for his ego.
Anderson - slight possibility, with maybe some live shows, though very little chance of a new studio album.
Wakeman - some hope, no hope and Bob Hope.

YES
The lastest prog mag - available now has articles about Jon Anderson - he is very positive about returning to YES
I think it will happen soon
For the last couple of millennia, the Messiah has been a figure who would re-appear to bring salvation. If using that metaphor, would it not be better applied to those who think Jon Anderson's return would solve all of Yes's problems and usher in a new golden era? Henry

The problem with anything like this is the minute you say No never the band will reform. What I would think is possible is that the band will get back together one more time for some big shows and maybe a live album and DVD I think a studio album is also possible but there needs to be a record label with money that will back it. again with that line up not impossible and of course there is always the reason to do it; well for the music sure but next year is the 45th anniversary and that is definitely something to hang it on so if it is going to happen I think it will be next year or as some people here have said sooner rather than later and maybe very much sooner than thinks :)
