America by Yes on Planet Rock. Refreshing to hear this little known version played on the radio.
    Lame, naive, laughable and stupid

Gates of Delirium on my Jap SHM CD decoded with a decent player would, I'm sure, give a piece of vinyl with grooves on it, a run for its money!

Yes you are quite right it probably does sound better, but I like the old school thing with records now. Got all my yes , camel, genesis,on cd. Had loads of rush on cassette at one time.

I like the way the record player almost forces you to listen to an entire side, rather than, skipping from track to track as I tend to do on my iPod.

I,m not anti new technology. I,m writing on an iPad , would never go back to a laptop now.

The good thing about the iPod is the ease of use, especially on trains and planes. Having to lugg around cd and cassettes was a right game.

Although my sons who are much more advanced tech wise, of course have phones that do everything.

My son thinks my CD walkman is hilarious!

Come to think of it, I believe he once called my entire CD collection Old School!

My latest discovery - a band called 16 Horsepower - a song called "American Wheeze". Anyone heard of them? Anyone?

    Oh man, GOOD stuff! :)

    Now playing:

    "Classic Crystal" - Crystal Gayle

I absolutely love her voice. And I don't care if it's Country, when Crystal sings it, I'm there.
